We are currently seeking to recruit a Transport Administrator to work with our Client on a permanent basis. Monday - Friday (Overtime on weekends as per Clients request). Hours of work; 08:00 - 17:00 Reporting to the Transport Manager. Role Overview: The Administration function on site is a varied role. It will involve actively engaging with Colleagues and Customer employees to provide admin support to Managers responsible for the depot. The post holder will build an effective and robust working relationship with the Transport team both in Ashby and other business depots. Key Responsibilities: General administrative duties to support the efficient and successful delivery of services to the customer base. Complete necessary admin tasks in a timely manner, meeting in house and customer deadlines. Building jobs on Mandata Booking in deliveries Customer KPI Scanning documents pods Diligent focus on TMS management to ensure vehicles, trailers are accurately recorded along with job progressing function to allow live reflection of job status. Job Description: Data Input and use of computer systems, Production of appropriate documentation Customer liaison by phone and Email, Despatch of drivers Report generation and assorted administrative tasks Printing of documentation/pod/manifest Production of reports Query handling Progress/chase Drivers Undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required.
