SEMH Teacher Company: Prospero Teaching

Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive, with pay scales up to UPS
Prospero Teaching is currently seeking dedicated and passionate SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Teachers to join our team. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible working Mondays and Tuesdays. The school we are working with will be asking you to cover Maths lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create Inclusive Learning Environments: Develop and implement strategies to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs in inclusive classrooms.
* Individualised Instruction: Tailor teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
* Collaborate with Support Staff: Work closely with teaching assistants, counsellors, and other support staff to provide comprehensive support for students with SEMH needs.
* Assessment and Progress Tracking: Monitor and assess student’s progress adapting teaching strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Specialised training or experience in supporting students with SEMH needs.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
