Job summary We are recruiting to our bank staff for Band 7 Diabetes Clinical Specialist Nurses to work within Sefton Place Community Diabetes Team. The post holder will need to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge base in relation to Diabetes and promote excellence in nursing practice in a dynamic healthcare environment. The post holder is expected to demonstrate leadership values within the team and contribute to the delivery of specialist nursing care, case management and provide direct patient care, acting as an expert practitioner to optimise patient health, provide education for selfcare and complex management of patient pathways. Main duties of the job An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 7 Diabetes Clinical Specialist Nurses to join our cohort of bank staff, to work within Sefton Place Community Diabetes team as a Clinical Specialist Nurse. You will be expected to work within Sefton Place the Diabetes Team provide a service to patients in Southport, Formby and the South Sefton area. The post holder will need to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge base and promote excellence in nursing practice in a dynamic healthcare environment. It is essential that they demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, ensuring that they use initiative and work autonomously and that the post holder can lead a team effectively.
