Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Advanced (Nurse) Practitioner to join our friendly team in the Emergency Department at Furness General Hospital. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you will be able to prioritise working with a range of staff and patients from the multidisciplinary wider hospital team.
Main duties of the job
We can offer you a friendly team to work alongside as we deliver high quality end to end patient interventions. You will be supported to work autonomously in delivering the best care within the emergency care setting and we will encourage you to be involved in yours and other colleagues' development.
Working for our organisation
We operate from three main hospitals - Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community health care premises.

* Masters
* Non-medical prescriber
* Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., City & Guilds or Professional Trainers Certificate)
* Registered Mentor
* Evidence of continuing professional development

* Evidence of clinical competence and credibility in the speciality and relevant post-registration qualification experience which must be in an appropriate area of specialist practice at a senior level
