Job summary BAND 7 SENIOR TEAM LEADER An exciting opportunity has arisen within Kidderminster Treatment Centre for an experienced and exceptionally motivated individual to join our theatre team. The Senior Team Leader will complement our existing Senior Structure and will work closely with our Theatre Matron. The role is responsible for the day to day running of the department including operational, financial, regulatory and policy compliance. This will include all aspects of theatre scheduling, service redesign, effective utilisation of resources and delivering an efficient theatre programme. Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated and fully conversant with all aspects of current theatre practices. Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach are essential as an on-call commitment is required for this post as well as participation in programmes of additional surgical activity. Mentorship skills are an essential element due to the numbers and variety of student learners we support. The post holder will also have leadership and problem-solving skills, will assist in annual appraisals, stock and budget control. As part of the theatre management team you will co-ordinate the theatre department and deputise for Theatre Matrons when required.
