We’re currently recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Team Leader to be based at our site in Rugby. The working hours are Monday – Friday – 6am -2pm.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,340 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Lead a team of warehouse operatives safely, efficiently, and fully compliant with site policies and procedures.
* supervising the operation, motivate, encourage team to perform to the best of their ability.
* Understanding the customer’s requirements, updating on customer orders and providing general customer feedback as required.
* Continually review and suggest improvements to operational SOP’s, training out any changes and ensuring full compliance.
* Maintain reports on productivity, including mitigation and opportunities to improve.
* Contractor calls out as required.
* Complete all RTW interviews and HR administration as required.
* Support the investigation of incidents as required.
* Ensure all process and procedures are followed and that we operate a safe and efficient environment.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
* Essential: Previous knowledge of working within a warehouse environment (shared user / customer site would be advantageous)
* Essential: It’s important you have exposure of working in a fast-paced environment – no two days will be the same and we need you to think on your feet.
* Essential: Good knowledge of warehouse management systems & microsoft packages.
* Essential: Supervisory experience or demonstrable experience of stepping up to cover Supervisory role
* Essential: Demonstrable experience of meeting customer requirements and meeting objectives/KPI’s that are set.
* Essential: Good customer service/ communication skills -
