We are actively recruiting for a full-time Teacher of Design and Technology to join one of our innovative Secondary Schools for Easter 2025, although an earlier start date may be considered for the right applicant. You will showcase your knowledge of the KS3/4 curriculum, through creative and engaging DT lessons that allow students to develop their skills and knowledge and become inquisitive learners with the confidence to succeed! The Secondary School based in Keighley is looking to appoint a friendly Teacher to join their thriving DT Department, offering a supportive and welcoming place of learning. You can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role depending on experience. We welcome applications from ECT's with relevant experience in the DT subject.
As a DT Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging Design and Technology and Engineering lessons up to GCSE Level 2.
* Have the ability to deliver up to A Level/Level 3 if desired.
* Use ICT to enhance the teaching of Design and Technology, with experience using CAD CAM and CNC machinery.
* Make a valuable contribution to planning, tracking and assessment.
* Be involved in the faculty’s broad and varied extra-curricular program.
* Inspire student engagement and develop passion for the subject.
We are seeking a Teacher with:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
* Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
* An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
* Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately, we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
