Job Title: Year 6 Teacher - Easter until July Location: North West England, Lancashire, Blackpool Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £120 - £160 Per day Job Duties: As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students in line with the national curriculum. You will assess student progress, provide feedback, and support individual learning needs. Collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure a positive learning environment is essential. You will also participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events. Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Relevant degree in Education or related field Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Year 6 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively manage a classroom and student behaviour Experience: Prior experience teaching Year 6 students is preferred but not essential. Newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply. Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of assessment and feedback strategies Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Organisational skills and attention to detail ICT proficiency for lesson planning and student engagement Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with students with special educational needs Additional training in safeguarding and child protection Participation in relevant continued professional development (CPD) Working Conditions: This temporary position requires full-time availability from Easter until July. You will work within a supportive school environment with access to resources and ongoing professional development opportunities.
