The purpose of this role is to deliver Strategic Investment Planning, Facility Investment Planning and the resulting Capital Investment Portfolio at the Montrose site, ensuring the faultless execution of projects to maintain the safe and compliant operation of manufacturing facilities (Asset replacement value of ~£700m) and to support business growth of the Montrose site. This role is required to coordinate and direct the site and project teams from planning through to benefit realisation of capital investment in alignment with PSM business priorities including building and developing capabilities. The impact of the role is immediate in terms of ensuring effective governance, stakeholder management, strategic alignment, planning and execution and ensuring delivery of key inter-dependent projects critical to success. This role interacts with a large network across the GSC and PSM business units including Supply Chain Strategy, Finance and Tech organisation.,
* Assume total responsibility for coordinating the delivery of a complex Capital Program in alignment with setting the Strategic and Facility Investment planning to support the site growth
* Manage a portfolio of projects with an annual investment of £25-30m pa, ensuring compliance with the Projects Management Framework (PMF). Delivery is via an embedded EPCM team using independent Projects Controls support, with projects ranging from £0.2m to £10m in individual value.
* Accountable for managing interfaces with project resources to provide a flexible service capable of meeting the project needs and meeting customer expectations by:
+ Driving approvals to plan via strong stakeholder management skills + Promoting team working and continuous improvement in all activities. + Ensure all projects allocated to the Project Manager are delivered on time, to cost and to the agreed quality/safety standards. + Ensure that projects comply with Site and Company standards and procedures in addition to all legal, statutory and regulatory requirements. These include GES's and LSOP's. + Responsibility for all projects operating in a financially compliant manner
* To operate an Engineering Performance Management system that fully aligns with the site GPS processes and Tiered Accountability operating model.
* Manage the generation, update and archiving of engineering drawings and documents.
* May fulfil the role of Site or Company "expert" in specialist areas, and as such will be responsible for writing and owning some standards and procedures., IOSH / NEBOSH Saftey Qualification
