Purpose of PostResponsible for the clearing of shortages for the production assembly line in a timely manner. Assisting with material issues and resolving any material discrepancies. Ensuring daily move of material supply to production is adhered to. Liaising with Production and scheduling team. Attending daily and weekly meetings. Auditing of material for the production build. Ensuring all parts handled, supplied, assembled and fitted is in accordance with the customer specification and Wrightbus quality standards. Responsible for undertaking any other duties associated with the post.Key Tasks: * Responsible for the compliance with the company’s health and safety policy and procedures ensuring the warehouse & workshop policies are being adhered to. * Responsible for the safe operation of plant equipment and or hand tools associated with the manufacture or fitting process. * Responsible for all aspects of the storage & assembly function within Logistics.Essential Criteria: * Literate in English * Qualified to GCSE level Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent) * Previous experience of Materials handling & control in a fast-paced Warehouse Environment * Experience of Goods Inwards, Cycle Counting, Kitting and WO issuing, or a busy assembly line. * Experience in problem solving and resolving queries in a timely manner. * Experience in using Sage or similar ERP system * Good interpersonal skills. * Determined individual * Positive attitude * Problem solving – discrepancies and material shortages * Accuracy and attention to detail * Flexible and adaptable. * Able and willing to work additional hours when requiredNote:This will be subject to review in the light of changing circumstances and may include other duties and responsibilities as determined in consultation with the jobholder.
