Our client a well-known manufacturer of lighters based in Basildon are recruiting an Account Manager to join their team.
This role involves overseeing the strategic development, implementation and execution of initiatives aimed at maximising sales, profitability and market share within these retail formats.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Formulate comprehensive retail strategies tailored to meet the unique needs and dynamics of organized retail chains and discounters, in alignment with company objectives and targets.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, serving as the primary point of contact and fostering collaboration to achieve mutual goals.
* Negotiate favourable terms, pricing agreements, and promotional activities with retail partners to optimize profitability while maintaining strong partnerships and brand integrity.
* Develop and execute sales plans and initiatives to drive incremental sales volume, increase market penetration, and expand distribution within organized retail and discount channels.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities and threats, providing strategic insights to guide decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
