As the Security & Facilities Manager, you will be pivotal in safeguarding our people, assets, and infrastructure. You will lead the implementation of robust security measures, ensuring our facilities operate seamlessly and securely. Your oversight will extend to coordinating building maintenance, enhancing workplace safety, and fostering an environment where our operational standards excel, contributing to our reputation for reliability and trustworthiness.

Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
* Maintain and enhance security measures to protect staff, assets, and facilities across all locations, including monitoring systems, access controls, and emergency response plans.
* Manage strategies to prevent loss, including monitoring stock levels, securing storage areas, and implementing theft prevention measures.
* Investigate and respond to security incidents, thefts, or breaches, liaising with law enforcement as necessary.
* Identify opportunities to reduce operational expenses without compromising safety or efficiency.
Facilities & Risk Management:
* Ensure the office environment is functioning effectively, fostering a positive and productive atmosphere for the team.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security policies.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with facility operations and security, including inventory protection and emergency preparedness.
* Oversee maintenance schedules for critical equipment and infrastructure, minimizing downtime and ensuring operations run smoothly.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on safety practices and emergency protocols.
* Maintain accurate records of facility inspections, security incidents, maintenance activities, and risk assessments.
You Are:
* You will likely have a background in police or security services, and be looking to apply your skills in a dynamic new environment.
* Proven experience as a Security Manager or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and physical security best practices.
* Exceptional levels of integrity and comfortable with a high levels autonomy in the role.
* Highly organised and detail oriented.
* Knowledge of bullion, jewellery or precious metals is advantageous but not required.
* A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
* A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
This role is office-based (central Birmingham).
