About the Role:
As a Building Maintenance Senior Supervisor, you will work alongside Havering Council within our social housing sector, supporting a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service through our local teams who understand the importance of working together for the community.
You will be part of a local team overseeing supervision activities in our Housing operations, ensuring all procedures are efficiently followed in compliance with company policies, providing top-tier customer service, and meeting safety, quality, and cost standards related to budget, profitability, and resource deployment.
* Supervising Voids team
* Supporting Supervisor and Planner to ensure smooth team operations
* Managing subcontractors and DLO to complete works
* Communicating with clients and attending meetings
* Partnership working with clients
Role Criteria:
* Good technical and operational experience
* Experience with void or planned works within social housing
* Repairs and maintenance experience
* Experience with complex repairs
* Strong organisational skills
All roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work in the UK. Mears does not currently sponsor visas.
To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be over 21, have held their license for over 3 months, and have less than 9 points.
