Job summary Band 5 Fixed term - 12 months An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Band 5 staff nurse to join our friendly Paediatric Accident & Emergency department at Ormskirk Hospital. The Paediatric Accident &Emergency department, has been rated good by CQC. The Department has undergone recent redesign and refurbishment and prides itself on providing excellent family centred care to children and their families in the local area. We are looking for an enthusiastic Children's nurse, who is an excellent role model, self-motivated and committed to the delivery of high standards of quality care. Experience is preferred but not essential. If you are a Children's nurse, committed to providing high quality care and would like to develop your clinical skills, this position could be for you. The post is shift work, rotational to night duty and the ability to work as part of a team is essential. We work closely with our Paediatric Ward, Assessment Unit and Neonatal Unit and rotational posts within the department are available for staff to gain experience in all areas.
