Position:
Role Purpose
The Sales Support Executive plays a key role in supporting sales professionals in securing new business by preparing investment illustrations and managing Request for Proposals (RFPs). This role requires a strong understanding of investment products, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality, tailored materials to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and tailor investment illustrations and performance projections for prospective clients.
* Utilise Morning Star and Financial Express to generate customised reports showcasing potential returns, risk metrics, and asset allocations.
* Assist in the creation of product comparisons, scenario analyses, and fund performance reports for client meetings.
* Support the sales team in responding to client queries related to investment illustrations and market positioning.
* Lead the coordination and submission of Request for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs) for institutional and retail clients.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (investment teams, compliance, marketing, legal) to ensure responses are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with regulatory standards.
* Maintain and update a central RFP database to ensure consistency and efficiency in responses.
* Track and analyse RFP win/loss ratios, identifying areas for improvement in future proposals.
* Act as the first point of contact for clients and intermediaries requesting investment-related materials.
* Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and sales presentations to support client meetings.
* Support sales teams in organising client meetings, roadshows, and webinars by coordinating logistics and preparing necessary materials.
* Ensure client engagement is recorded and tracked within the Salesforce (CRM system) to maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
* Ensure all investment illustrations, sales materials, and RFP responses comply with the necessary compliance and regulatory adherence requirements.
* Liaise with compliance teams to keep sales documentation up to date with the latest regulatory changes.
* Monitor and track approvals of marketing and sales materials to ensure consistency with internal guidelines.
* Conduct research on market trends, competitor offerings, and client investment preferences to provide insights that enhance sales pitches.
* Monitor fund performance against benchmarks and competitors to highlight unique selling points in proposals.
* Provide intelligence on institutional and wholesale investor trends to support targeted sales strategies.

Essential Qualifications:

* Entry level, work experience whilst studying.
* College or workplace apprenticeship
Beneficial Experience:
* Experience of working in a similar investment environment
