We are excited to recruit an experienced Vegetation Operative to support the successful delivery Rail Arboriculture projects that meet with, or better, our client's expectations.
You will be an experienced Vegetation Operative with the skills and competencies to be able to safely remove vegetation and trees along the rail lineside estate.
As well as sharing the ethos and values of our Company, you will:
• Have recent experience working as operative in vegetation clearance and/or tree works
• Hold competencies such as Chainsaw, Brush cutter/strimmer, Chipper and felling small trees.
• Have a UK driving licence, be based around Hastings/Bexhill and comfortable driving to sites across the South East.
Whilst not essential, you may have prior experience of working along the railway and hold a PTS card.
You’ll be a self-motivated team member who can work both independently and ‘muck-in’ as part of a team. You will take pride in your work, complete tasks to a high standard, in line with COOMBES’s ethos and values. As you will be field-based for the majority of your time, you must be happy to work in all that the British weather has to offer!

Working hours: 40 hours per week, to be worked Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm with 1hr unpaid break each day.
