Job Overview:
We are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join the Healthcare team, reporting directly to the Finance Business Partner for Coventry Hospitals within Mitie Healthcare.
Support Operating function within the Hospital and Financial consolidation requirements for the finance and management teams.
Develop and provide the Healthcare Management team with key reporting and financial data analytics to enable effective decision making.
Support in developing improved financial reports & using Key Metrics & data to provide insights into contract performance, areas of focus and opportunities to improve financial performance.
Work with other finance colleagues and operational teams to identify process improvements, including best practice initiatives.
Support financial awareness training.
Support of contract mobilisations.
Main Duties:
Role will require extensive use of several data systems (such as Coupa / purchasing PO system, SAP, Power BI preferred) in order to extract data, deliver reports & provide key MI.
Consolidation of Key Financial information for Healthcare, including Month End Results, Budgets & Forecasts. Use of existing reports and data to use in presentations.
Support Healthcare efficiency initiatives through the provision of financial data.
Work with Healthcare teams to develop improved reporting of data and metrics.
Work closely with the Finance Business Partners, Contract managers, operational teams and contract admin to provide accurate and insightful management information, including trends.
Support contract mobilisations to ensure robust policy & procedures are developed and implemented with the contract team.
Drive the improved understanding of financial information through insightful reporting and interpretation to influence decision making and promote business performance across the Business.
Report contract data/MI to senior stakeholders (MD, Sector Directors, Head of Finance, Finance Business Partners & Contract managers).
What we are looking for:
Part Qualified accountant, currently studying towards a full qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent) - last stage preferred.
Proven ability to work in complex financial environments.
Experience of using SAP and/or CAFMs is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
A degree of financial, commercial and customer awareness.
Keen eye for attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a highly pressurised and driven environment.
Ability to think ahead, identify new opportunities and create new and innovative approaches to work related issues.
Must be a team player, but have the ability to work on own initiative.
Close to the Coventry area. Location is CV2.
