Job Title: Engineering Faculty Position
We are seeking an experienced and skilled lecturer to join our engineering faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with the ability to teach both theoretical and practical aspects of these subjects.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires the successful candidate to teach a range of programs, including BTEC and T-Level courses. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, tutorials, and assessments to students at all levels of study.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach mechanical and electrical engineering principles to students at FE and HE vocational Level 2/3 BTEC and T-Level programs
* Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
* Mentor and support students in their academic and professional development
* Contribute to curriculum development and review to ensure it remains relevant and effective
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field
* Proven experience of teaching and assessing students in a Further Education or Higher Education environment
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles, including mathematics and computer-aided design
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
