Make a Difference as a Business Manager by joining our team based at our Plymouth Head Office
Havencare is a registered charity dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, autism, brain injuries, and other support needs. Our mission is to provide homes and support that enable people to live their life through opportunity and choice.
We are looking for a Business Manager who has an expectation of professional excellence with high standards and integrity in their work and is energetic and positive, with a can-do approach.
You will have strong leadership and managerial experience of working as an office manager or a manager of business and administration functions. You will be a great role model and understand that if you treat people like they make a difference, then they will. You will lead a skilled team responsible for delivering business functions including systems, technology, workflows, communications, and administration. You will be a great organiser, delegating and providing direction for the team whilst supporting and empowering them to focus on priority work.
You will build positive relationships and lead your engaged multi-functional team to provide a consistent outstanding service with every interaction and connection.
Reporting to our Head of Business, and working with other senior management roles across Havencare, you will be able to quickly establish mutual respect and trust and build positive working relationships. You will understand the importance of making sure that our business processes are efficient, effective, and timely and you will also be experienced in helping to identify problems before they arise and have the knowledge to help mitigate them.
What You'll Do:
1. Manage and develop the business team and deputise for the Head of Business.
2. Manage business resources, processes and services.
3. Manage business systems, technology, workflows, and marketing (communication strategy).
