Who we are looking for:
We are seeking to appoint an ‘Achievement assistant’ to work within the communication centre and ensure the students receive the level of support they require and make good progress. The communication centre caters for the needs of children who have autism, a language impairment and/or learning difficulties. The post is permanent, term time only plus the school training days (pro rata) and with a variable hours contract between 24-36 hours per week. From a date to be confirmed until 31 August 2025, the core hours will be 30 hours per week.
The post is part-time and permanent and to start at the earliest opportunity. This role reports to the AHT/SENCo.
You will have:

Previous experience of working in a classroom environment with students
Previous experience of working in a classroom environment with students who are disabled or have special educational needs
