Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager for one of our clients based in Birmingham. The role will be taking charge of a 3 room and 3 service user Children's home, managing the budgets, recruitment, training and ensuring the well-being of children.
Registered Manager Responsibilities:
1. Recruit, train, and develop staff
2. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children in care
3. Provide care and support for the children's physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, and social needs
4. Produce, maintain, and distribute paperwork to ensure accurate records are available.
5. Ensure the home complies with relevant regulations, such as the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, the Children Act 1989 & 2004, and the Care Standards Act 2000.
6. Liaise with the Children's Home Activity Coordinator, school staff, and others to ensure effective communication.
7. Manage and monitor budgets, and take corrective action as needed
Registered Manager Details:
Location: Birmingham, Erdington
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 PA
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Registered Manager Requirements:
1. NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Health and Social Care Management
2. Proven experience in a managerial role within a mental health care setting.
3. A compassionate and person-centered approach to care, with a genuine commitment to promoting the rights, dignity, and well-being of individuals.
4. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
