Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for a number of Field Service Engineers in the following postcodes:
South = GU, PO, RG, SL, OX
Job Function: To provide on-site engineering support.
Reporting to: Field Service Engineering Manager.
Liaising with: Customers, Service / Breakdown Controllers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a flexible and can-do approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As an ambassador for the company, good presentation and the ability to communicate at all levels is a must-have attribute.
Responsibilities:
1. Attend breakdowns on-site, fault diagnosis, and rectification.
2. Carry out routine servicing for all equipment at customer sites.
3. Implement planned maintenance for all equipment at customer sites.
4. Diagnose, repair, and build generators/engines.
5. Carry out planned maintenance for all equipment in the depot.
6. Ensure optimum parts stock level is achieved, always maintain and review.
7. Allocate any parts used onto the works mobile tablet.
8. Correctly record/process all jobs on the works mobile tablet in a timely manner.
9. Record any potential customer recharges to the Service Controller.
10. Provide back-up support in other areas and depots.
11. Ensure company vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and maintained at all times.
12. Follow the company’s Employee Handbook policies and procedures.
13. Any other duties requested by your Manager.
Requirements:
1. Experience in a similar role and/or relevant demonstrable mechanical/electrical knowledge.
2. Driving license.
3. Good communication/literacy skills.
4. Attention to detail.
5. Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
6. Flexible with regards to travel, tasks performed, and working hours.
