Aim of the Role:
The Junior PMO Analyst role forms part of a small PMO team, working with Project Managers, Provisioners, Engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful service delivery. The team is responsible for producing reports and analyzing the data behind those reports.
This role has a high profile across the business and will interact with colleagues at all levels. The candidate will manage situations and coordinate activities to resolve issues while proactively identifying potential problems and recommending solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data management & reporting: Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports and board presentations using Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint. Work with stakeholders and project delivery teams to develop and produce ad-hoc reports. Analyze complex data sets and present findings to the Head of Programme Office and Head of Delivery.
2. Initiate & plan: Manage incoming project requests and ensure the sales team provides sufficient information to complete the sales order. Participate in resource planning meetings and raise concerns regarding resource allocation.
3. Customer satisfaction: Set up valuable governance processes.
4. Process & delivery: Support project teams in evaluating business processes and ensure implementation of policies and practices. Produce training material and manage delivery process documentation.
5. Innovation: Seek and drive opportunities for improvement within the PMO and broader delivery team, focusing on continual improvement.
6. Administration: Complete administrative tasks until they become automated, including data entry and system updates.
7. Wellbeing: Risk assess your workload and that of others, identify solutions, and support colleagues in need.
8. Personal development & innovation: Identify opportunities to contribute to wider business initiatives and pursue personal training and development.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, attributes, and experience:
1. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential; awareness of Power BI is expected.
2. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
3. Customer-focused and professional.
4. Highly self-motivated with a willingness to learn and respond positively to feedback.
5. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
6. Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
7. An interest in data and data analysis is advantageous.
8. This role would suit an individual with a business or related degree, business analyst experience, or relevant experience in a similar role.
Ideally, the candidate should be able to commute to our Harrogate office, with occasional travel to our Reading, York, and London offices. Redcentric has a hybrid working policy, with an expectation of face-to-face interaction in the office 2 days per week.
