Main Purpose of the Role : The role exists to protect, control and manage the IT assets of MUFG Securities and MUFG Bank EMEA throughout their entire lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for supporting the Senior Asset Manager defining and delivering IT Asset Management strategy in EMEA. - Accountable for working with Senior Asset Manager and Head of IPR to produce and adhere to ITAM roadmaps and standards. - Accountable for ensuring maintenance and support contact renewals are appropriate and have been reviewed by the SME, ensuring compliance and achieving the most cost effective solution for the bank. - Responsible for asset recording, tracking and rationalization throughout their onsite lifecycle. - Accountable for processing service requests through relevant request management system. - Responsible for Identifying and performing ITAM key controls. Documenting policy and procedure and ensure processes are in adherence to governance framework. - Accountable for coordinating all processes underpinning compliance and control requirements, such as compliance reports and management information around End of Life Assets. - Accountable for coordinating forums such as Software Compliance, engagement with Service Management functions to ensure assets are appropriately managed. - Accountable for supporting End of Life (EOL) processes and work with Technology stakeholders. - Oversight for reviewing asset terms and conditions with MSA & EULA. - Accountable for identifying costs savings and cost avoidance opportunities. - Responsible for management of software licence compliance, identify licence deficits and co-ordination of plan/implement remedial actions. - Accountable for building and maintaining constructive working relationships with Procurement, Service Desk, Application Owners, End Users and Vendors. - Responsible for reviewing and updating asset policy and procedure when as required. - Responsible/Accountable for identifying and implementing new tracking, trending and reporting processes. - Responsible for participating in manage service reviews with suppliers to ensure service levels are adhered to where applicable - Accountable for ensuring that the team operates in a controlled manner in accordance with standards and procedures whilst adhering to all related security and compliance procedures - Responsible for supporting new applications/projects as and when released to the business. - Accountable for escalating potential service issues to the Management Skills and Experience: Work Experience Essential: - Proven experience in Hardware and Software Asset Management for at least 3 years - Experience of using ServiceNow HAM and SAM Pro modules - Extensive knowledge of licensing terms and metrics - Able to identify and deliver continious improvements in ITAM to improve matuity - Confident with licences metrics for Tier 1 vendors such as IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe, SAP, etc - Experienced in understanding software contracts and terms - Experience of procurement systems and raising necessary purchases - Experience of working alongside network, server, database, desktop; asset management and storage functions - Work with other technical teams and stakeholders to provide end to end ITAM capabilities - Experience with regulatory compliance issues as they apply to Infrastructure and the wider Technology Department Desirable: - Working with Procurement tool Oracle Financials - Budget and FinOps knowledge and experience MUFG operate a hybrid working policy with 3 days per week in the office.
