Do you have experience supporting pupils with neurodiverse needs, social, emotional, and communication difficulties, and autism?\n\nTradewind are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join the Additional Resourced Provision (ARP) of a welcoming Primary School in North West London. This role is perfect for someone with a background in SEND support who thrives in an inclusive, nurturing environment.\n\nThe Role:\n\nProviding tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with neurodiverse needs and autism.\nWorking closely with the SENDCo and specialist teachers to implement EHCP targets.\nSupporting children in developing their social and communication skills.\nCreating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.\nUsing de-escalation strategies and positive behaviour support techniques.What We're Looking For:\n\nExperience working with children with SEND, particularly autism and social-emotional needs.\nKnowledge of PECS, Makaton, TEACCH, or other SEND strategies (desirable but not essential).\nA patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.\nStrong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals.\nA commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for pupils.If you are passionate about making a difference in young people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.
