The Opportunity
I am working with an exciting and fast-growing energy company that delivers energy generation and efficiency solutions to industrial and commercial clients. The company is expanding its legal team and is looking for a construction lawyer to support its growing project pipeline. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this role will be at the heart of the business—working closely with project teams to mitigate risk, negotiate contracts, and advise on legal issues throughout the construction phase of energy projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior lawyer with construction experience or a keen interest in energy to move in-house and develop their expertise in a rapidly growing sector.
The Role
* Advising on all legal matters within the construction phase of projects.
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating project appointments and contracts.
* Managing risk mitigation strategies and contract compliance.
* Supporting on dispute resolution, insurance, regulatory compliance, and project finance.
* Providing legal assistance on commercial contracts, property, NDAs, and data protection.
The Profile
* England and Wales qualified solicitor (NQ – 2 PQE) with experience in construction, energy, or engineering.
* Our client is open to NQ lawyers with a strong interest in energy and infrastructure projects.
* Strong understanding of construction contracts and professional appointments.
* Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business.
