Key responsibilities and duties:
1. Produce a comprehensive Production Plan which schedules the aircraft maintenance and manages dates on activities through the maintenance period in order to meet or exceed customer requirements;
2. Produce comprehensive planning, and look ahead to ensure the operations teams have Work packages available.
3. Customise the production plan and project plans in close liaison with production, engineering and logistic support;
4. Make effective and practical recommendations/decisions based on analysis and experience in order to schedule shop workload appropriately in line with resources and customer demand, working closely with the Aircraft Front Line Manager.
5. Contribute to production planning meetings and follow-up on actions raised, keep appropriate parties informed of progress and production related issues arising;
6. Promote (Lean) practices and continuous improvement to improve any area of the Production Plan and Turn Round Time/OTD;
7. Achieve all responsibilities in conjunction with the Depth Maintenance Planner, sharing job knowledge to ensure all aircraft are planned correctly to published procedures.
8. Establish and maintain efficient lines of communication between related Company departments including Off Aircraft Shop, Engineering, Supply teams, and Customer Service to achieve the primary goal of meeting the Customer requirement;
9. Conduct all work in accordance with company policies, health and safety procedures, quality procedures, manufacturers and customer specification and industry regulations;
10. Complete all documents related to the work being performed;
11. Carry out any other duties required within the capability of the jobholder.
12. Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals.

1. Familiarity with aerospace quality procedures and documentation including process documentation, parts routing procedures, Engineering Repair Instructions, Detailed Work Instructions and Non-Conformance Report system;
2. Proficient in the use of computers, familiarity with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel and integrated systems; Local ERP and any other business platforms;
3. Ability to maintain focus with a strong ability to manage priorities in a busy environment;
4. A working knowledge of engine publications and work instructions including overhaul and maintenance manuals, parts catalogues and service bulletins is desirable;
5. Financial Planning Knowledge is desirable.
Organisational Relationships:
1. Key relationships with Operational Managers; Front Line Managers, Customer service Manager, Engineering & Logistics;
2. Internal relationships within Operations, Engineering and Logistic Support staff.
Experience Qualifications/Education and Training:
1. Experience of project planning and production scheduling; Project Management;
2. Competent in the use of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, especially Excel; Projects, other platforms that will benefit improvements (Power BI);
3. Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload;
4. Able to suggest improvements for change, innovative ideas and problem solving approach;
5. High level of customer and commercial focus;
6. Able to work flexibly to the needs of the business.
