Overview The Strategy & Operational Excellence team is on a mission to improve both our customer and employee experience by redefining how we plan, buy, make, and distribute products in Waters Global Operations. As a Sr Principal Program Manager, Supply Chain Transformation, you will provide leadership and coordination across high-impact initiatives across Global Operations. In this role, you will be working with the enterprise S/4 transformation program, multiple Global Operations transformation teams (responsible transformational change in, e.g., Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Direct Procurement, and Production Planning) and local sites (responsible for implementation at the site). The role will require you to leverage your program management, change management, and process leadership skills, and experience with S/4Hana and similar transformations in supply chain, to ensure focused and coordinated execution. This position is ideally suited for a highly organized and strategic Program Manager comfortable in a dynamic environment, with a strong command of conceptual and analytical problem solving related to strategy, organizational design, roles, processes, technology, and metrics. Responsibilities Lead quarterly planning within and across initiatives to ensure priorities align with strategic objectives and deliver impact on agreed metrics across the S/4HANA program, global capability teams and sites Collaborate with Capability Owners to understand their objectives and roadmaps for motivating changes in processes, metrics, and supporting tools (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP APO, S/4HANA) Collaborate with site leadership teams to understand their objectives for driving improvements within the site / plant in relation to prioritized capabilities Support both capability teams and site transformation teams in detailed planning, execution, and delivery of their priorities Work closely with teams across the organization (e.g., IT, Finance, Commercial Excellence) to ensure collaboration and effective execution of project deliverables Lead the portfolio of initiatives, ensuring that appropriate management processes and tools are in place, and that each initiative is executed efficiently and optimally within scope and budget Serve as a point of contact for senior leadership and key stakeholders. Provide regular updates, resolve escalations, and lead expectations throughout the lifecycle of the initiatives Implement metrics to measure overall, as well as individual team, performance and ensure continuous improvement Identify potential risks and roadblocks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues to keep initiatives on track Support resource allocation across initiatives, ensuring that teams have the necessary tools and support to achieve the initiative goals Handle budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective execution of all initiatives Contribute to the development and refinement of program management processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and outcomes Qualifications 12 years progressive experience in program and project management with a proven record of efficiently completing large-scale programs delivering change across people, process, data, and technology in complex, global organizations Experience driving Supply Chain process transformations and implementing / improving ERP systems (SAP ECC/APO, S/4HANA) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence collaborators and drive alignment across teams with varied strengths Ability to analyze sophisticated situations, identify challenges, and propose actionable solutions Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with experience leading multiple initiatives simultaneously Deep knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira) Ability to collect and analyze data to make informed decisions and measure success Change management experience required Process discovery, design, and implementation experience required Experience with business process management (e.g., modelling, mining, automation) a plus Validated understanding of Lean concepts and tools a plus Experience working with Agile / Scrum teams required; Product Owner and/or Scrum Master certifications a plus PMP or equivalent certification required Prosci certifications a plus ASCM / APICS certifications a plus Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, Science or Supply Chain subject area Company Description Waters Corporation (NYSE: WAT), the world's leading specialty measurement company, has pioneered chromatography, mass spectrometry and thermal analysis innovations serving the life, materials, and food sciences for over 60 years.
