Essentia, part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking to recruit Senior Estates Surveyors to lead on property and asset management across the Trust’s diverse estate portfolio.
One of the largest NHS Trusts in the country with around 22,700 staff, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust comprises five of the UK’s best-known hospitals – Guy’s, St Thomas’, Evelina London Children’s Hospital, Royal Brompton and Harefield – as well as community services in Lambeth and Southwark, all with a long history of high-quality care, clinical excellence, research and innovation.
As the Trust’s Senior Estate Surveyor, you will support the Assistant Director for Property and Asset Management in the delivery of the Trust’s property strategy. You will be part of a small in-house property team and will be responsible for a varied workload including acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters, service charge budgeting and business rates.
The role will work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders to provide expert property advice and assurance that Trust property interests are proactively managed, ensuring best value and optimisation across a diverse London portfolio of 130 premises.

The role offers the opportunity to play a crucial role in the future development of one of the UK’s largest healthcare portfolios, creating an environment that in turn will make a fantastic difference to so many.
