Project Architect Job in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Project Architect job available joining a leading architecture, engineering and construction company with a global presence currently looking for passionate architects to work on a new project in their defence sector.
Please note this project is not due to start until January, therefore onboarding will take place in the new year.
With 14 offices worldwide, their portfolio consists of a wide variety; they are renowned for their sustainable approach to projects. This role offers the chance to work fully remotely, with a view of travelling to the site when needed, so the candidate would be required to live within a 50-mile radius of Peterborough.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Develop architectural designs, to ensure an exemplary solution is delivered that meets quality parameters, project timelines, and budgetary requirements.
2. Conduct site surveys and field review information, adhering to applicable code requirements.
3. Prepare design reports, drawings, and models following office standards.
4. Site visits to determine compliance with construction documents; identify any deviations and liaise with the owner and contractor to resolve issues promptly.
5. Works effectively in a team by supporting other team members.
6. Report to directors on the progress and updates of current projects.
Required Skills & Experience
1. Previous experience managing projects and small teams of up to 6.
2. You must be proficient in the technical stages of a project.
3. ARB registration is essential.
4. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
5. Previous experience working on MOD projects is highly desirable but they are also considering large-scale commercial, industrial, and multi-family residential.
6. Within commutable distance of Peterborough.
7. Having your own car and driver's license is essential.
