We are looking for a motivated, resourceful and experienced individual to work in our Intensive Support Services in Bury. We provide in a shared supported living service which contains 3 flats in the Bury. We support service users who have a range of needs including learning disabilities and intensive support needs. This is a fantastic service that enables great outcomes for the people we support. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be involved in the running of vibrant homely services where we adopt a Positive Behaviour Support Model with input from our dedicated PBS Team. Your role will include: • Providing respectful personal care, administering medication and supporting service users with daily domestic tasks such as cooking/cleaning, • Maximise service user outcomes by working closely with the service user, their family and friends, staff and involved professionals such as the PBS Team • Developing and managing staff, including staff training, supervision and appraisal, • Supporting managers with business planning and service developments, • Supporting managers Quality Assurance and CQC compliance A minimum of two years' experience of providing care and support to people support needs and a level 3 in Health and Social Care is essential. You should have experience of supporting and supervising a staff team. You must be willing to work flexibly on a rota according to the needs of the service including sleep-ins.
