We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and experienced bookkeeper to join our team. This exciting role involves providing finance and accounting support to the Practice Manager and GP partners within a general practice setting.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Xero and/or PayeDoc, and a formal accounting qualification or equivalent is preferred.
In this role, you will work closely with the Practice Manager to help maintain the financial health and integrity of the Practice. Key responsibilities include accurate record-keeping, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
This position is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week. The working pattern will be determined in collaboration with the successful candidate to ensure mutual convenience.

* Data Entry & Record-Keeping, Xero
* Administrative Support
* Day-to-day financial transactions including invoicing and petty cash
* Additional responsibilities as required by the Practice.

Working closely with the Practice Manager and GP Partners, you'll handle a range of responsibilities including payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance. This role is ideal for someone with experience in finance, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
