Job Description:
Venator is recruiting for a Source to Pay Query Management Supervisor to join the Source to Pay Team at Wynyard.
Reporting to the S2P Global Process Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operational management of the S2P Specialists in Wynyard.
Job responsibilities include:
1. Line management of the S2P Specialists & S2P Payment Senior Specialist in Wynyard, including performance management, regular 1:1s and appraisals.
2. Ensuring each S2P Specialist’s workplan is up-to-date and focused on delivering the agreed objectives in a cost effective and efficient way. To ensure that S2P Specialists adhere to the S2P standard operating procedures.
3. Main point of contact for S2P day-to-day operational matters, able to resolve situations using their own initiative and only escalating to the S2P Global Process Manager by exception.
4. Achieving KPI targets [such as parked/blocked items and outstanding queries (emails)].
5. Ensuring adherence across the business to S2P processes and policies.
6. To act as back-up to the S2P Payment Senior Specialist during absence, overseeing the generation of the payment forecast and payment runs.
7. By exception, to act as back-up to S2P Specialists in time of need (absence, backlogs etc).
8. To pro-actively participate in ASSC Blue Chip projects as required.
Candidate requirements:
Essential:
1. A minimum of five years’ experience working in Accounts Payable.
2. Experience of leading a team.
3. In depth knowledge of the relevant areas of SAP FI/CO and MM modules (desired).
4. Knowledge of SOX and internal controls (desired).
5. Escalation process, resolving supplier queries, requests for payment to ensure that no action is taken against Venator due to late payment of supplier invoices.
6. Track record of continuous improvement and change management.
7. PC literacy in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Preferable:
1. Level 4 in a European Languages (German, Italian or Spanish).
