Sales Engineer - HVAC

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving sales by combining technical expertise with effective communication skills.
The successful Sales Engineer will be responsible for understanding client needs, presenting tailored air conditioning solutions, and ensuring a seamless transition from sales to implementation. This role requires a deep understanding of air conditioning systems, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
1. Technical Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the company's climate control product line and an eagerness to keep up to date with industry trends and technologies.
2. Client Requirements: Conduct thorough assessments of client requirements, understanding technical specifications and translating them into viable solutions.
3. Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations, highlighting the technical features and benefits of the company's air conditioning and refrigeration solutions.
4. Proposals: Collaborate with clients to customize climate control solutions to meet their specific needs, incorporating technical details into tailored proposals.
5. Technical Discussions: Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to clients with varying levels of technical understanding, ensuring clarity and building confidence in the company's solutions.
6. Internal Relationships: Work closely with the project and application teams to align technical solutions with client expectations, contributing to a cohesive and successful sales strategy.
7. Project Transition: Ensure a smooth transition from the sales phase to project implementation, collaborating with the project delivery team and providing necessary technical insights and information to enable a successful completion.
8. Client Relationship Building: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing technical support and acting as a trusted advisor for their air conditioning needs. Adapt sales techniques to engage with clients in face-to-face and remote settings, utilizing digital tools and communication channels effectively.
9. Forecasting/Sales Reporting: Provide accurate forecasting of new and future business. Use CRM and any other internal systems to provide accurate data to enable the business to track customer and sales activity.
