Base Salary: $112,717 to 133,853 p.a. +17% superannuation and leave loading

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lecturer in Midwifery to join the award-winning academics in the School of Nursing and Midwifery (SNM). You will lead the delivery of teaching into the pre-registration Midwifery programs; Bachelor of Midwifery; Masters of Midwifery (Graduate Entry), a Graduate Certificate Re-Entry to Practice and post registration Masters of Midwifery Studies program. You will also contribute to growing the research profile of the midwifery discipline at a local, national and international level.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Hold a doctoral qualification (or close to completion) or equivalent accreditation and standing or professional equivalent.
* Hold current registration, as a midwife, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no restrictions, notations or condition.
* Demonstrate recent ability to achieve teaching quality as indicated by internal and external surveys and outcomes for students that will improve or innovate curriculum in response to feedback.
* Display knowledge of and skills in the pedagogy of teaching and learning across a program and/or course.
* Be developing a record of publication or non-traditional research output in high-quality outlets and establishing research collaborations.
* Have the ability and desire to be involved in active supervision of honours, masters and/or higher degree by research projects.
