Job Summary:
* Review audit planning and fieldwork
* Complete audit files
* Train and develop staff
* Raise notes
* Handle ad-hoc assignments such as cash flow forecasts and hands-on assistance with audit assignments
* Manage a diverse portfolio of clients
* Oversee the workflow of the department
* Ensure timely meeting of client, Companies House, and HMRC deadlines
* Review financial statements for charities and SMEs
Desired Skills:
* Ideally ACA or ACCA qualified
* Strong communication skills with confidence in client interactions
* Competency in using Microsoft Excel
* Experience in using Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, CCH AP, and CCH AA (but not essential; full training provided)
* Attention to detail
