Marketing Manager
Downside School has a vacancy for a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to join our team to increase brand awareness and to ensure that strategic Admissions and Marketing targets are met.
The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Director of Admissions, Marketing and Commercial Enterprise, the Head, and the Development Office to deliver effective communications to prospective parents, current parents, and the wider community.
The Marketing Manager is supported by our Digital Marketing Assistant to deliver and coordinate operational marketing activities and events for the school, helping to develop creative marketing strategies that reflect and build awareness of Downside School.
Working with the Director of Admissions, Marketing and Commercial Enterprise and the Head, the Marketing Manager will develop and implement a marketing plan, develop brand management consistent with our Benedictine ethos and build digital campaigns to support marketing presence and customer engagement. The Marketing Manager will liaise with the Digital Marketing Assistant in relation to social media promotion and website updates.
To be successful, you will have:
* A relevant qualification to degree level, specialising in marketing equivalent professional experience.
* Experience of successfully using a range of digital content and social media.
* A proven track record of successful marketing campaigns.
* Experience of proof-readying and copy-editing.
* Ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent working knowledge of core Microsoft programmes.
* Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
* A creative flair and able to work with minimum supervision.

Contractual Details
* Pay: £32,000 - £37,600 dependent on experience
* Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break
* Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus 8 days public bank holidays
* Contract: Permanent Contract, all year-round position
