Support students in developing their communication, social, and emotional skills.
Use a range of strategies and interventions, including visual aids, sensory activities, and structured routines, to support learning.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), therapists, and parents to provide the best possible support for students.
Encourage and promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being through patience, understanding, and positive reinforcement.
Assist with personal care tasks where necessary, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.

Basic IT skills to support learning through technology and assist with record-keeping.
A proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to adapt to different learning needs and challenges.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one before starting the role).
