We seek a nurse leader with a proven ability to identify and utilise staff members' strengths delivering high-quality performance. The ideal candidate is anyone interested in further developing their nurse leadership skills and influencing how mental health services are delivered in South Kent Coast in this time of service transformation. You will be offered the support, coaching and training to excel in this role. In this role, you will be responsible for the nursing team delivering high-quality, person-centred assessment and intervention. You will use the clinical governance framework to monitor that services provide good patient experience & address areas of concern. Continuous development of the nursing team by delivering training, education and supervision (ideally trauma-informed approach to your leadership), recognising achievements and building a strong team morale will be expected to achieve this goal. Clinically, you will be involved in the assessment and intervention of a small number of cases. Main duties of the job Team leadership - recognising existing strengths in the team and utilising these. Maintaining morale and motivation. Development of team members to meet service needs and individual career goals. Training, education and supervision. Workforce planning - working closely with other senior colleagues to recruit, retain, nurture and develop the nursing team. Ensure student nurses receive good quality training experiences. Clinical governance - setting clinical standards and planning how they will be achieved. Monitoring compliance with these standards using data from a range of sources. Joint responsibility for achieving CQC standards. Collaborative working with partner agencies, community matrons and senior leaders. Co-production with service users and carers. Clinical assessment and offering short term, evidence based interventions.
