The Job As Senior Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts, statutory accounts and other management information, providing supervisory support and guidance to the wider Financial Reporting and Control team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong, qualified accountant to make an impact in a dynamic and collaborative finance function. Assist with planning, coordination and timely submission of accurate statutory and management reporting and accounting in accordance with relevant accounting standards and deadlines. Providing supervisory support and guidance to the wider Financial Reporting and Control team on technical and statutory matters. Preparation of monthly management accounts and accompanying balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy whilst adhering to reporting timescales. Play a key role in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the company's processes are efficient and streamlined whilst ensuring that integrity is maintained. Adopt an ethos of continuous improvement across all financial processes and controls, proactively identifying areas of risk and developing suitable controls to address these. Collaborate with external auditors and other third parties in respect of regulatory compliance. Adhere to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health and Environmental. To ensure all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice, are adhered to in respect of ongoing compliance. Any other task associated with the efficient technical support of a Workshop. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED Essential Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) Previous experience in a finance function, ideally in practice (first time mover) or a similar role. High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft office products Experience of using accounting software.
