Your work will be supported by a skilled leadership team from various fields, providing guidance and facilitating forums for Nursing and Occupational Therapists. In this role, you will be part of a close-knit team working together to deliver exceptional care to our patients. This role is eligible for an incentive scheme of £3,500 paid at intervals over an 18-month period. All payments are pro-rata, non-pensionable and subject to a clawback clause. Please note that only employees external to Oxford Health NHS are eligible for this scheme. Main duties of the job Conduct specialist Occupational Therapy assessments in collaboration with service users and their families/carers, and present findings to the team. Manage a caseload of clients with complex Occupational Therapy needs, using evidence-based, patient-centred principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions. Develop and monitor treatment plans to ensure the safety, well-being, and independence of service users, working closely with partner agencies when necessary. Provide specialist support and education to service users and carers regarding various aspects of occupational therapy, including equipment fitting. Engage in continuous professional development by participating in practice development initiatives, supervision, reflective practice forums, and maintaining competency through Continuous Personal Development.
