Title: Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper Type: Temporary Hours: Full or P art Time (flexible hours to suit) Location: Inverness Salary: £13 - £15 per hour depending on experience Salary: Details: Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to be based near Beauly on a part time basis. The pattern of working hours can be flexible to suit with the option of hybrid working available. Flexibility in relation to working hours may be required to meet the seasonal nature of the business including additional hours at the outset for induction and training. Duties include: Carrying out reconciliations. Processing and reconciling sales and purchase ledgers using Sage software. Ensuring prompt and accurate payment of suppliers and dealing with any supplier and invoice issues and queries. Banking duties. Petty Cash and credit card reconciliations. Inputting and reconciling invoices. Updating and maintaining accurate financial records. Filing invoices. General administration duties. Assisting with retrieving information for audit. Person Specification: Previous experience in a similar accounts assistant/bookkeeping role. Strong IT skills including MS Office and financial software systems (preferably Sage). Ability to reconcile and work with accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt and learn new skills and systems with ease.
