Care Support Worker

**Please note: Applicants will need a full UK driving licence and use of a car or motorbike/scooter **
Position: Care Support Worker
Location: Borehamwood, Bushey, Watford, Rickmansworth, Three Rivers, Potters Bar
Salary: £13 per hour weekday up to £ per hour for Bank Holidays, plus mileage at 45p per mile between clients’ homes
Hours: Various hours available, Mon-Fri 4pm to to provide Homecare, Weekends - 8am – 12pm noon and/or 3pm to Choose your own regular hours to work Monday to Sunday.
** Tier 2 Sponsorship can be provided for eligible candidates who are looking to switch employers. Please note, you must be in the UK**
About the role:
As Care Support Worker you will provide support to vulnerable adults with care needs, helping them to stay safe and happy in their own homes and to give family members a break so they can continue to care.
You will:
1. Build strong and supportive relationships with unpaid carers and people with care needs so person centred care can be provided to meet their identified needs.
2. Provide personal, social, and domestic care.
3. Treat everyone with respect and dignity including provision of choice in how their care is delivered
About you:
To make a good Care Support Worker you will need to have good written and verbal communication skills and a calm and caring manner. You don’t need to have previous experience, anyone new to care will be enrolled on the Care Certificate with full pay and you will be provided with a full induction for all new staff.
