We are seeking to further integrate health and care services at a place level, and working with partners in Local Authorities, General Practice, Mental Health and Acute services, across both the statutory and non-statutory sectors. As part of this, we are a key member of the ‘Joined Up Care Derbyshire’ Integrated Care System. We have an opportunity for an ambitious, outcomes-focused, and inclusive Chief Financial Officer to join our Trust Board. We are seeking a strategic leader who will ensure that finance is an enabler of transformation for the services we provide as a Trust and increasingly for services that we provide in collaboration with our partners. The Chief Financial Officer will play an active and strategic role in our system; seeking opportunities for new mechanisms that allow us to integrate services sustainably through effective risk sharing arrangements. They will actively seek opportunities to create efficiencies in our delivery models which will allow us to invest and innovate within our front line services. Supporting the development of a culture of collaboration; this role will be central to our engagement with colleagues, partners and communities and offers the opportunity to create the conditions for real improvement in the health and wellbeing of our populations. To succeed in this role, you will bring experience in strategic financial leadership likely to be gained in organisations operating at the interface of health and care services either in a healthcare and/or local authority environment.
