Job summary
The Spinal Injuries Rehabilitation Ward is a regional unit, which provides full care, support and rehabilitation to patients following injury to their spines. The unit has a High Dependency Unit and full rehabilitation facilities, patients care is planned and managed by a dedicated specialist multidisciplinary team.
Post holders will be appointed at band 2 or band 3 depending upon qualifications.
Band 2 requirements - willingness to undertake all relevant training and qualifications if wishing to develop into a band 3 role.
Band 3 requirements - Numeracy and Literacy Level 2 or GCSE equivalent (A-C/ 4-9)

There is also an Institute of Learning, Research and Innovation on site, embracing postgraduate medical education, undergraduate teaching centre, nurse training school, the school of radiography and library facilities.
