The business has ambitious plans to grow to 40 sites across the UK through strategic acquisitions. Their mission is to deliver exceptional service across all our locations while continuously driving commercial success and operational excellence. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Director to join the senior leadership team. This is a pivotal, hands-on role that encompasses both commercial and operational responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving our growth strategy, with a particular focus on M&A integration. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic financial guidance and insight to the CEO and executive team, supporting decision-making and long-term planning. Lead the financial due diligence and integration of acquired businesses, ensuring seamless transitions and alignment with our strategic objectives. Oversee financial operations across all sites, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Partner with operational leaders to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, optimising financial performance across the business. Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Key Skills and Experience: Experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably within a multi-site or private equity-backed business. Demonstrated experience in managing mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence and integration. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive business growth and profitability. Hands-on approach with a deep understanding of financial operations and controls. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
