Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with a well-established client in Wallsend in their search for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Based at my client's head office in Silverlink Business Park, the role will be situated within the sales ledger function predominantly but would also suit an all-round Accounts Assistant candidate. Working in a busy team, your duties will include: Monitor and process rental income, ensuring all payments are recorded accurately and on time. Monitor rent arrears, chasing tenants and updating Landlords accordingly Liaise with clients regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies via email and telephone Issuing monthly rental statements to Landlord's Processing and paying contractor invoices Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to rental income. Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all rental transactions are accurately recorded. Assist in providing documentation and information during financial audits.
