Job Title: Process Operator Location: Preston Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time (shift work - 44 hours per week) Reporting to: Production Manager What will you do? The role will entail the manufacture of animal feed through a series of processes to a high standard whilst maintaining high safety, hygiene & efficiency standards. The successful candidate for this role will be required to work shifts. Tasks and responsibilities as a Shift Operator: Run the blending/pelleting and master weigh process in an efficient manner to deliver the production plan on time. Communicate all issue/delays against the plan to colleagues and other departments. Maintain the routine machine maintenance and cleaning schedules. Optimise utilisation of finished product bin space. Maintain site processes/standards in line with the UFAS code of practice. Participate in the Tier accountability process and update the daily vis board. Your CV shows: Experience working with process control systems (Desirable) Counter balance FLT licence. (Desirable) Computer literacy. Must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
