Our client, a lovely brand within sports and hospitality are seeking an experienced Payroll and HR Systems officer to join their team in Ash, Sevenoaks. Payroll and HR Systems Officer (although the HR duties can be removed if we find the perfect payroll person) 400 staff, 250 of which are perm 4 days in the beautiful office, one day from home (your choice which day) Salary 35-40k You'll need a car, as there are no public transport options This is a standalone payroll position, so we are looking for someone comfortable with that and experienced enough to manage the entire process. At the moment there is no outsourced payroll provider, this may change in the future. Payroll duties: Process and administer payroll for all employees across multiple sites, using Brightpay, ensuring accuracy and timely payment. Including a significant casual labour cohort. Manage and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers. Maintain employee 'coding’ systems to support accurate accounting Ensure compliance with tax, national insurance, and pension regulations. Prepare and submit statutory reports (e.g., PAYE, NI, pension contributions) and prepare year end payroll processing (P11d’s, P60’s etc) Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure confidentiality. Process employee deductions, bonuses and commissions, benefits and reimbursements as well as leaver and starter processes.
