Role Overview
As an Area Specification Manager / Sales Manager, you will develop capabilities with specifiers within the Social Housing Sector, New Build Developers, Electrical Contractors, and Installers, managing supply chain relationships.
Your Mission
Drive sales and build lasting relationships within your designated area.
Key Responsibilities
1. Powering Sales: Grow business through the Electrical Wholesale Channel.
2. Strategic Planning: Create and manage annual business plans for growth.
3. Spotting Opportunities: Identify new business avenues proactively.
4. Industry Expert: Stay ahead of industry trends to maximize opportunities.
5. Product Champion: Promote Kidde Safety products to increase engagement and sales.
6. Networking & Client Visits: Maintain regular visits and strengthen relationships.
7. Key Partnerships: Build relationships with key accounts, social housing, installers, and contractors.
8. Training & Knowledge Sharing: Deliver installer and contractor training on standards and best practices.
9. Brand Ambassador: Represent Kidde Safety professionally and confidently.
Candidate Requirements
* Sales Experience: Previous experience in a similar sales role.
* Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of electrical distribution or related fields (preferred).
* Travel: Willingness to travel frequently.
* Proactive Attitude: Results-driven and self-motivated.
* Independence: Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
* People Skills: Strong relationship-building skills.
* Communication: Excellent presentation skills.
* Driving License: UK driving license required.
